The Sunset of A Queen

Born a single child to Berthaine and Willie Taylor in Ocala Florida. After her family moved to Miami, Essie spent much of her adult life helping other people.  As a proud graduate of Miami Northwestern High Miami Dade College and Barry University, education was always on the top of her list for family and the wayward souls that she was blessed to help. Whether it was being the outgoing social worker she was or the gifted seamstress that made clothing for the less fortunate, she never hesitated to put others in front of herself. She was always one that stood up first in the crowd to either assist or defend those that could not do it themselves.  She showed the strength and courage we all pray for everyday

Grandchildren; Morris Jr, Melissa, Monique, Maurice, Breyanna, Marvell, Anthony, D’londra, Antonia, Dwayne jr, & Charles.

Great-grandchildren; Anthony III, Aiden, Taylor-Rose, Amber, Terrell, Camille, Te'Jon, Ta'Jariah, Jah'Breel, Amora, & Daniel.
