A Friend
   Posted Thu January 04, 2018
To the family and friends of the deceased,
Please accept my sincere condolences for your loss. Many have found true comfort from the pages of God's word the Bible (2 Corinthians 1:3-5}. The Bible tells us why we die (Genesis 2:16, 17; Romans 5:12) the condition of the dead (Ecclesiastes 9:5) and that we can be reunited with our loved ones (Acts 24:15). The Bible also tells us where this happy event will take place (Psalm 37:29; 115:16). The promise from the God of the Bible Jehovah (Psalm 83:18) found at Revelation 21:3, 4 gives us the assurance that death will be no more. At John 17:3 Jesus tells us the benefit of reading and studying the Bible. He also said at John 8:32 “and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free". Dear Whitfield, I want to express my condolence. Almighty God is aware of the pain we experience when we loose a love one therefore, God provides comfort in the Bible at 2Corinthains 1:3-4. Further, God states a positive hope for the future on earth at Revelations 21:4-5. May these scriptures comfort your family and friends.
